These courses may be upgraded later on to BVoc & MVoc levels. We at Sh ri Rata nlal Kan wa rlal Patn i Gi rls' College, Kishangarh, offer two Certificate Courses in Fashion Design and Interior Design as per the local requirem ents and demand of the people.

Fundamentals of Art & Design: Art and Design, Compositional Studies, Material Exploration, Communication, Elements of Design, Principles of Design, Silhouettes and Figures Fashion Illustration & Design I: Fashion Terminology, Principle and Elements of Fashion, Career Opportunities, Design Process-1 nspi ration, Concept Boards, Range Development. Fashion Illustration: I - History of Fashion - Introduction and History of Indian Costume. 2- Basic Fashion : Stylization, Pencil Shading, Textures, Coloring, Accessories, Basic Garments Shapes, Classification of Skirts , Neck Lines, Colors and Sleeves. Draw Heads and Hair Styles. 3- Human Figure: Understanding Flat Drawings, Free Hands Sketching, Stick Figure, Block Figure, Flashing the Figure, Silhouettes and Figures. 4- Fashion Components and Details
Textile Studies & Surface Techniques: Fabric Studies I - Introduction to Fiber, Yarn, Fabrics and Fabric Finishes-, Surface Manipulation -Tucks, Pleats, Gathering, Ruffles, Smocking, etc. 2- Methods of Dyeing - Tie and Dye, Methods of Printing-Block Printing, Stencil Printing.
Pattern Making and Garment Construction I: (A) Pattern Making & Draping- I. Standard Measurement: Body Measurement. 2. Basic Bodice Block: Child and Adult. 3. Different Types of Sleeves, Skirt, Torso with Basic Manipulation Techniques. 4. Sewing Machine and Parts, Operating the Sewing Machines, & Sewing Equipments. 5. Different Types of Seams (Plackets, Pockets, Necklines, Pleats and Tucks) (B) Garment Construction: Construction of Basic Bodice with Sleeve Skirt & I Basic Garment.
Visits: Visits to designers or museums (Anokhi/City Palace/ Tilonia / Bagru/ Textile Industry etc.)
Workshop:Participation in Workshop - I (Compulsory)
Similar to Certificate Course in Fashion Design, Interior Design also consists of general education part which consists of Language, Computer Application and Fundamentals of Art and Design.
Apart from this, the training will be given as per the authorized syllabus designed by RiSU, which will be distributed to the respective candidates at the time of admission.
After the completion of 6 months, the university will publish the final exam's time-table, and accordingly the students will have to appear for the examination and viva-voce. University will declare its result through its website and/ or through other media channel. In any case it should be noted that the student will have to bear the expenses
