Preface:
The overall aim of the National Service Scheme is to give an extension dimension to the higher
education system and orient the student youth to community service while they are studying in the
educational institution.
At present, our college has 3 Units 1 Government and 2 SFU (Self Finance Units)). The volunteer
strength of each unit is 100. Throughout the year, NSS conducts regular and special camps,
awareness classes, demonstrations, personality development programmes, workshops etc. for
the volunteers. Blood Donation, Tree Plantation, Health Checkup and Treatment Camps, Legal
Awareness Camps, Gender Sensitization Camps, Environment Awareness Camps and AIDS
Awareness Camps and other social service activities are conducted are the laudable activities.
Achievements:
- It is a moment of Pride & Honor for our college that the Fourth Time in a row, our NSS volunteer
Ms Aayushi Tanwar B.Sc.Part III (Maths) was shortlisted to represent Rajasthan State to take
part in the Republic Day Parade at the Rajpath New Delhi 2022.
- Our college participated fourth time in NYF (National Youth Festival) and NIC (National
Integration camp).
- We are delighted to share that this year our college NSS Unit has received three NSS State
Awards. Our college is the first college in the region to grab all three prestigious awards of
NSS, Best College, Best NSS Officer and Best Volunteer.
Recognition at State Level:
- Our College received the Best Performing Institutional NSS Award.
- Our NSS Convener Dr. Ruchi Mishra was honoured as the Best Programme Officer in the State.
- Our Student Ms. Neha Khangarot was shortlisted as the Best NSS Volunteer in the State.
