The Department of English of Shri Ratanlal Kanwarlal Patni Girls’ College organized a poetry recitation and poetry-writing event on the occasion of World Poetry Day. The event was held on March 21, 2023. The purpose of the event was to encourage students to appreciate and express themselves through the art of poetry. The program started with a message from Dr. Ravi Sharma (Principal), who stressed the importance of poetry in our lives.CA Subhash Agarwal (Director and Secretary, College Management Committee) conveyed the best wishes to all the participants and praised the Department of English for their efforts in organizing this event. Finally, Ms. Kavita Priydarshini Assistant Professor, Department of English and coordinator of the event spoke about the significance of World Poetry Day. She explained that this day is celebrated worldwide to promote the reading, writing, and teaching of poetry. students took part in this event with full enthusiasm.
