Educational and Historical Tour Organized by Shri Ratanlal Kanwarlal Patni Girls' College
Shri Ratanlal Kanwarlal Patni Girls’ College, Kishangarh, organized an educational and historical tour for undergraduate students of Faculty of Arts from December 14 to 16, 2024. A total of 31 students participated in this enriching journey aimed at providing practical exposure beyond classroom learning and fostering a deeper understanding of Rajasthan’s cultural and historical heritage. The college management’s Director and Secretary, Mr. Subhash Agrawal, highlighted the importance of such tour in bridging academic knowledge with real-world experiences, fostering discipline, teamwork, and personal growth while connecting students to Rajasthan's rich history and culture. Principal Dr. Shailendra Patni encouraged students to immerse themselves in the historical and cultural essence of the visited sites. During the tour, students explored the historical marvels of Chittorgarh, including Padmini Palace, Meera Temple, Ravidas Temple, Shiva Temple, and Jauhar Sthal, bringing to life the tales of Rajasthan's bravery and sacrifice. In Udaipur, they visited attractions such as Rayta Hills, Bahubali Hills, City Palace, Pichola Lake, Jal Mahal, Bapu Bazaar, Fateh Sagar Lake, and the Water Aquarium, experiencing the regal charm and cultural significance of the city. The journey also included visits to Nathdwara and Sawaliya Seth temples. The tour was coordinated by Dr. Mitesh Juneja, Faculty In-Charge, Arts Faculty, Dr. Suresh Kumar Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of History, and Ms. Srishti Asati, Sports In-Charge. The students shared their reflections, describing the tour as an unforgettable experience.
