Department of Geography and Physics are jointly organizing on the spot Poster Making and Slogan Writing Competitions on the occasion of International Day of Preservation of Ozone Layer on 16th September 2022 in the college.
The main purpose of these competitions is to spread awareness among students about the depletion of the Ozone Layer and also to highlight the possible solutions to preserve it, through slogans and posters.

Department of Geography and Physics jointly organized on the spot Poster Making and Slogan Writing Competitions on the occasion of International Day of Preservation of Ozone Layer on 16th September 2022 in the college. The main purpose of the competitions were to spread awareness among students about the depletion of the Ozone Layer and highlight the possible solutions to preserve it, through slogans and posters. It is also an effort to showcase the creativity of the students.
The students participated in the competitions very enthusiastically. The total number of registrations were 45, who were from different departments of the college. The prepared posters and slogans were presented and then exhibited in the Seminar hall.
Mrs. Rohini Yadawar, Assistant Professor, Department of Geography (Academics)highlighted that the main objective of this event is not only to bring awareness about Ozone Day but also to develop presentation skills among the students and to provide a platform to them so that the students may showcase their creativity.
Ms. Manisha Yadav, Assistant Professor, Department of Geography (Education), briefed about the historical background of Ozone Day, its significance.
A short video clip with the theme “Preservation of Ozone Layer" was also showcased in the Seminar Hall.
Ms. Devshree Jain, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, highlighted the rules and criteria about the competitions held, to the audience.
Dr. Hukum Singh Champawat , Mr. Avinash Totlani, Dr. Mitesh Juneja, Ms. Iram, Ms. Vertika Bhatia were the judges of the competitions.
Ms. Sangeeta Rawat, Ms. Sanjana Bairwa, Ms. Komal Jain secured First, Second and Third Positions respectively in Poster Making Competition.
Ms. Kavita Kumari, Ms. Anshu Yadav and Ms. Kanishka Bacoliya secured First, Second and Third Positions respectively in Slogan Writing Competition.
The Winners were awarded with Mementoes and Certificates of Appreciation.
CA, Mr. Subhash Agarwal, Director and Secretary of College Management Committee congratulated the winners and motivated the students to constantly work hard to bring out best in them.
Dr. Ravi Sharma, Principal, while declaring the results, appreciated the creative exhibits of the students and motivated the students to showcase their creativity in the similar way on regular basis.
The event Coordinators Ms. Rohini Yadawar, Ms.Manisha Yadav and Ms. Devshree Jain along with other faculty members thanked the management and administration for their constant support and motivation.
