" Our college is inviting our Freshers to An Orientation Program “Parichay” which is an introduction and marks the beginning of an Exciting and Enriching Journey of College Life. It is being organized from 20th July to 30th July 2022. "
20-07-2022 (Day-1)
Parichay: the Orientation Program commenced on 20th July 2022, for the new batch of Shri Ratanlal Kanwarlal Patni Girls’ College, Kishangarh.
On the First Day of the program, students were welcome at the helpdesk and registration kits were distributed to them. Students then gathered in the seminar hall where the program commenced after lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati. Power Packed dance performance by students mesmerized the audience. A short video of the glimpses of the magnificent infrastructure of the college was shown.
Dr Ravi Sharma (Principal) addressed the freshers and welcome them to a new exciting journey of college life. To further ignite the excitement level of the freshers, one more video was shown to them about the “Insider Guide of Campus Life”.
Dr Mitesh Juneja (Event Coordinator) give details about the upcoming activities during the orientation program and how to participate in these activities.
Shri Mahavir Kothari (Member, College Management Committee) addressed the students and asked them to thank their parents for providing them with all the support and encouragement to choose the correct path and guiding them to shape their future.
CA Subhash Agarwal (Director and Secretary, College Management Committee) addressed the “Wonder Girls” and conveyed best wishes and regards to all the students.
Ms Jayshree Agarwal (Member, College Management Committee) and Ms Neetu Sharma conveyed best wishes to the students.
Dr Smita Pancholi and Ms Iram conducted ice-breaking activities for the students.
Ms Rohini Yadawar (Event Coordinator) delivered the vote of thanks. Students then moved to the cafeteria for lunch.
A fun frolic activity “Explore Your Institute” was conducted for the student which let them explore the college in a fun way.
21-07-2022 (Day-2)
he second day of the Orientation Program started with “Yoga and Pranayam”. The Yoga Expert Ms Bhawna Chaturvedi guided students to introduce Yoga, Meditation and Pranayam in daily life to enhance their learning and physical well-being. After the Yoga Session, students moved to their favourite destination – The cafeteria, where they enjoyed the healthy breakfast served.
For the most awaited session of the orientation program: The Motivational Talk on “Future Forward Professionals: Be Your Best Version (Discover Yourself and Discover Your Passion) by renowned motivational speaker Prof. R. Narendran (Professor, Department of Business Administration, Mohanlal Sukhadia University). She shared with the students her life experiences; the challenges she faced, and the strength and grit she overcame them. Whilst providing the audience with insights about real life, she persuaded the students to inculcate discipline and set goals that are in tune with their passions. She also advised the students to improve and maintain their health by adopting active lifestyles. Her positivity and enthusiasm inspired the students to see the brighter side of things and encouraged them to have a positive outlook on every situation. It was an inspiring day that left an enduring impression on the students and faculty members.
Students then moved to the cafeteria to enjoy the delicacies served and to tantalize their taste buds.
Students gathered in the seminar hall where they were introduced to the faculty members via small video messages created for them. After the introduction session, the presentation competition was conducted where students showed the presentation created by them.

22-07-2022 (Day-3)
The third day of the orientation program started with Self Defense Workshop. Under the supervision and guidance of Mr Rakesh Bagra (International Coach and Self Defense Trainer) vigorous training was conducted to boost the self confidence of the girls and to make them able to act in unfavorable situations. The girls were taught simple ways of self defense and they were also spoken to about tackling situations in which they found themselves to be under any kind of harassment. The safety of the girl child should be given maximum priority and hence the workshop was seen as a boon to the girls. After the session, students moved to their favorite destination – The cafeteria, where they enjoyed the healthy breakfast served.
After warming up from the self-defense workshop and recharging with healthy breakfast students gathered in the sports ground where they explored the sports facilities offered by the college and enjoyed the sports activities. Parallel to the outdoor sports activities, indoor sports activities were also conducted in which students played, chess, carrom and table tennis. Students also participated in SUDOKU competition and 4-Pics-1-Word competition. After enjoying the sports, the students moved to the cafeteria where lunch was served.
After lunch students moved to the seminar hall for Talent Hunt Competition. The objective of this event was to encourage students to come forward and show their hidden talents. The idea behind organizing this competition is to nurture the intrinsic qualities of students and remove their stage fright. Students exhibit their talent through dances, henna art, poster making, sketch, poetry etc. It is joyful and overwhelming moment to witness such efforts put in by the students.
Chief Guest of todays event were Prof. Meeta Sharma (Rajasthan University, Jaipur) and Dr. J. P. Shukla (SRK Patni PG Govt. College, Kishangarh) addressed the students and emphasized on the importance of orientation program and encouraged them to participate in all the activities conducted in the college.
23-07-2022 (Day- 4)
On the fourth day of the orientation program, the day started with the second session of the Self Defence Workshop. After the session, students moved to the cafeteria, where they enjoyed the breakfast served.
The next activity on the schedule was the one that students enjoy a lot, i.e. taking snaps. Students were allowed to roam around the college and click the snaps, which were then presented to all the students as a presentation in the seminar hall.
The next activity was a quiz competition, in which Dr Mitesh Juneja (Coordinator) asked questions about the college and students responded enthusiastically.
In the next session, Mr Ravi Soni (Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science) elaborated to students about the safe use of social media apps and websites. Followed these activities the students moved to the cafeteria where lunch was served.
After enjoying the delicacies students gathered in the seminar hall where Ms Rohini Yadawar (Coordinator) presented a report on the entire orientation program were presented. In continuation to this activity, the Alumni Experience Sharing program commenced, where Proud Alumni of our college shared their experience with the freshers and guided them to begin the wonderful journey as proud wonder girls. Followed by this all freshers’ shared their views and experience during three days of the orientation program.
In the next session, the Chief Guest, Ms Shweta Dadhich (RAS, Additional Treasury Officer, Secretariat, Jaipur) addressed the students and guided them on how to prepare for the competitive examinations.
The next event was the most awaited Prize Distribution Session. CA Subhash Agarwal (Director and Secretary, Management Committee), Shri Mahavir Kothari (Member, Management Committee), and Dr C. P. Pokharna (SRK Patni PG Govt. College, Kishangarh) distributed the prizes to the position holders in various events conducted and conveyed best wishes to them.
25-07-2022 (Day- 5)
The second phase of the Parichay – The Orientation Program started on 25-07-2022. The day began with Biometric registrations of Freshers. To ensure the safety and security of the students, the biometric attendance of the students is monitored and details of check-in and check-out of the student are sent to the parents via SMS.
After completing the Biometric Registration students boarded the college bus for the “Go Green with Plantation” activity at the adopted village Bubani under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan. Mr Vishvajeet Jaroli (Coordinator, UBA Cell), Ms Gita Paliwal (Assistant Professor, Botany Department), Mr Suresh Sharma (Assistant Professor, History Department) with Mr Amit Dadhich (Administrative Officer) accompanied the student to the Bubani Village. Under the supervision of the faculty members, all students planted more than 40 plant saplings. The objective of this event was to sensitize the students about the importance of trees.
After lunch, students gathered in the seminar hall, where Dr Hukam Singh Champawat (Assistant Professor, Hindi Department) took a session on “The Art of Communication” where he covered topics like the importance of communicating effectively and the difference between mere communication and doing the same effectively.
26-07-2022 (Day- 6)
Today the day began with a session on the details of the various govt. scholarship by Dr Mitesh Juneja (Nodal Officer, Scholarship Cell). The government provide various scholarship to the students and if a student is aware of them then she may get benefitted from them. He elaborated on the requirements and criteria of various scholarships offered by the government.
The next session was on “Parents, our Living Temple” organized by Ms Rohini Yadawar (Coordinator) to salute the unconditional love and dedication of the parents. Dr Ravi Sharma (Principal) welcomed the Chief Guest of the session Dr Ritu Saraswat (Associate Professor, Sociology, Govt. College, Pushkar). Dr. Sharma in his address, appreciated this unique event and guided the students to get the maximum benefit out of the various activities and sessions conducted during the course of the second phase of orientation.
Chief Guest of the event Dr Ritu Sarawat in her address emphasized the importance of parents in the lives of children and asked students to always have warm and cordial relations with their parents. She further added that in this fast-paced era, it is quite difficult for parents to mark their presence in their children’s life. Millennial children who are exposed to the versatilities of distractions find it difficult to find a connection with the ordinary. Not to mention children are quite blinded by the reign of the virtual world.
In the next session, renowned motivational speaker and career counsellor Dr Mukesh Pancholi addressed the students and guided them on time management. In an interactive session, he stressed that effective time management gives you back control of your life and career goals. It’s the cornerstone skill that will help you with everything from increasing productivity to building good habits, setting proper goals, avoiding burnout, and finding a work-life balance.

27-07-2022 (Day- 7)
In today’s first session of the orientation program, faculty members and students gathered at Crystal Park Cinema to view the movie “Anatryati Mahapurush”. The film "Antaryatri Mahapurush (The Walking God)" is the life journey of Digambar Sant Acharya Vidya Sagar Ji Maharaj.The film covers the story of his childhood till attaining the position of Acharya, his education, his sports, and his love for siblings. His devotion to his parents, the ups and downs in his life and his devotion to religion will be seen in this film.
After the movie show, all students gathered at the college seminar hall for the session on “General Management and Leadership Skills” by Ms Poonam Jhamnani (Assistant Professor, Department of Management) and Mr Puneet Tak (Assistant Professor, Department of Management. Which aimed at motivating students for giving 100% in whatever they do, without concern for results and how the actions of a good leader can influence the whole community.
An interesting quiz BUSINESS HUNTERS was also conducted to teach the students more about business, branding, companies and marketing in a fun and educative way. The quiz comprised of four rounds Guess the Brand Logo, Crack the Tagline, All about brands and their parent company, and Know influencing entrepreneurs. The students were divided into ten teams of nine students. It was fun learning for them. Consumer goods were given to students as rewards.

28-07-2022 (Day- 8)
The session started with the introduction of the student-centric activities available in the college. The session included details of NSS given by Dr Radha Gupta (Co-Coordinator, NSS Program), NCC by Dr Meenal Tripathi and Ms Archana Tiwari, Scout and Guide Rangers by Ms Manisha Yadav (Coordinator, Sout and Guide Rangers), IIRS-ISRO Outreach Program by Ms Rohini Yadawar (Coordinator, IIRS ISRO Outreach Program), various RKCL Courses by Mr Ankit Khandelwal (Coordinator, RKCL Program) and about the sports facilities by Ms Srishti Asati (Head, Sports Department). The students keenly attended the sessions and resolved all their queries and doubts in highly interactive sessions.
The next session was a motivational seminar on “Know Yourself with Physical Attainments and Happiness” by Prof J. K. Jain (Head, Department of Commerce, Dr H.S. Gour Central University, Sagar, M.P.). In his address, he guided the students to overcome the barriers of physical attainments and seek happiness in every dimension of life. Staying positive is key to happiness, as happiness is just a state of mind.
Post lunch, students gathered in the seminar hall for a session on “Healthy Eating – Quick Snack Preparation Workshop) by Dr Meenal Tripathi (Assistant Professor, Home Science Department) and Ms Anuradha Shekawat. This workshop aims to promote healthy eating habits among the students, as they often crave fast food and unhealthy junk food. In this session, they learnt how to prepare quick snacks which are not only healthy but also quick to prepare.
29-07-2022 (Day- 9)
The session started with the introduction of clubs offered to the students in the college. Respective Club Coordinators introduced briefly the club and the activities conducted in the last session. Students are allowed to join any two clubs of their choice/interest.
The next session was about Financial Literacy taken by Mr Avinash Totlani (Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce). In this session, students learned about the details of the basic banking operations and understand various concepts like Savings, Investment & the foundational relationship with money.
After lunch, in the next session, students were introduced to the library usage and book bank facility by Dr Kapil Singh Hada (Librarian). He elaborated on the functional aspects of the library including the book collection, reference books and important journals. He introduced to the students the computerized method of Issuing, returning and reissuing books, and the facility of the Open Access System adopted in the library. Students also learned about the book bank facility, in which students may receive the complete set of books for the session.
In the last session, students were allowed to roam the campus to capture snaps for the most happening and awaited event: The Photography Contest – “Your Campus in a Snap”. Students tried to discover the photogenic and scenic campus and clicked the snaps for the competition. All photographs will be shown tomorrow and winners will be declared.
30-07-2022 (Day- 10)
The final day of the second phase of the orientation program was full of fun and entertainment. The day started with a session started with the introduction of the college website and social media pages. Mr Ravi Soni (Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science) demonstrated the use of the college website and social media accounts, which will surely help students and parents to get more useful information and will help them to connect with teachers and the college to make communication easier.
After this informative session, students watched educational and motivational movies. Students enjoyed watching movies with their new friends and faculties. After watching the movies, in an open discussion, students and faculty members discussed the storyline of the movies and its relevance to present situations.
After lunch, students gathered in the seminar hall for the last session of the Classical Dance Workshop. Dr Jnaneswari Gellanki (Renowned Bharatnatyam Dancer and Nuclear Physicist) taught our students initial beginning classical dance postures "Mudras" their significance and how regular dance improves our health. In her session said that Bharatanatyam is an intrinsic part of Indian culture and to have expertise in it, one needs to have the courage, passion, stamina, and confidence to present wonderfully in front of the audience and feel joy in performing it.
Coordinator of the dance workshop Dr Radha Gupta, Dr Vardha Jain and Ms Devshree Jain delivered the vote of thanks to Dr Jnaneswari Gellanki.
Winners of the Photography Contest were given the prizes by the esteemed guest and the event coordinator.
In the end, the coordinators of the event, Dr Mitesh Juneja and Ms Rohini Yadawar addressed the students and delivered important instructions regarding the commencement of the session and the regular classes.
