๐ Celebrating National Girl Child Day at Shri Ratanlal Kanwarlal Patni Girls' College! ๐
๐ Today, on the auspicious occasion of National Girl Child Day, we came together as a united force - a joint collaboration between the Departments of Sociology, Education, and Computer Science at our very own Shri Ratanlal Kanwarlal Patni Girls' College! ๐ซ
๐ญ The purpose behind celebrating this significant day is to champion gender equality and challenge the stereotypes that often discriminate against our girls. Our aim is to empower them with the knowledge, tools, and opportunities needed to realize their full potential. National Girl Child Day focuses our attention on the challenges girls face, promoting their empowerment and the fulfillment of their human rights.
๐ We were honored to have blessings from CA Subhash Agarwal, Director and Secretary of the College Management Committee. He conveyed his best wishes to all the Wonder Girls. He applauded the event and encouraged students to recognize the value and contribution they bring to the nation's development and well-being. Girls are the future leaders, innovators, and change-makers of our society, possessing the power to transform the world with their vision, creativity, and courage.
๐ In a heartfelt message from our Principal, Dr. Shailendra Patni, he emphasized that the empowerment of the girl child is not just a moral imperative but an investment in a better, more equitable future. By providing equal opportunities, education, protection, and support, we enable girls to thrive and make valuable contributions to our communities and the world.
๐ฃ๏ธ Dr. Mitesh Juneja (Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology), the event coordinator, inspired our students by underlining the purpose of the celebration - creating awareness about the rights and opportunities every girl deserves, aiming to eradicate gender inequalities.
๐ฉ๐ซ Dr. Smita Pancholi, Head of the Education Department, stressed that this celebration is an initiative to offer more support and new opportunities to girls in the country, increasing awareness about the inequalities faced by the girl child in society.
๐ก Mr. Ravi Somi, Head of the Computer Science Department, shared informative videos and documentaries in a fun and engaging way, helping students learn about the various challenges and problems faced by girls in India and how they can overcome these challenges.
๐๏ธ The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr. Archana Kothari, expressing gratitude to all participants for making the National Girl Child Day celebration a resounding success!
Let's continue to support, empower, and uplift our girls, recognizing their immense potential and contributions. Together, we shape a brighter, more equitable future! ๐ช๐ธ #GirlChildDay #EmpowerGirls #SriRKPGirlsCollege ๐
