Department of Education and Abhinav - The Research and Innovation Club of the Shri Ratanlal Kanwarlal Patni Girls' College, Kishangarh jointly hosted a successful extension lecture on 16th march 2023, with the aim of educating students about the basics of research. The event took place at 10.30 AM in the Seminar Hall and the Keynote Speaker was Dr. Anjali Sharma, Associate Professor and Head, Faculty of Education, CURAJ.
The event was introduced by Dr. Smita Pancholi, Head,  Department of Education. Dr. Pancholi provided a warm welcome to the participants and highlighted the importance of the lecture in helping students understand the basic features of research. She also introduced the guest speaker, Dr. Anjali Sharma, and highlighted her extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of education.
Dr. Ravi Sharma, Principal of the college in his address emphasized that the lecture provided a great opportunity for the students to learn about the basics of research and encouraged them to continue to participate in similar initiatives in the future. The lecture was a great success and left the participants feeling inspired and motivated to pursue their research interests.
CA Subhash Agarwal, Director and Secretary of the college encouraged students to take part of the event. He emphasized about the importance of the research in the field of commerce and management.
The lecture was well-attended, with students and faculty members present to learn about the fundamental features of research. Dr. Anjali Sharma provided a comprehensive overview of the importance of research in today's society, and how it plays a critical role in shaping the world around us. The lecture also highlighted the various research methodologies and techniques that are commonly used, such as surveys and experiments. Dr. Sharma encouraged students to actively engage in research and survey activities, as a means of gaining valuable insights into the world around them.

Students expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to attend such a valuable session, and many expressed a keen interest in pursuing research activities in the future.

At the end of the lecture, Ms. Rohini Yadawar, Co- Coordinator of the Research and Innovation club delivered a vote of thanks on behalf of the club. She expressed her gratitude to Dr. Sharma for her valuable insights and for taking the time to educate and inspire the students. Dr. Hukam Singh Champawat, Dr. Radha Gupta, Ms. Shweta Sharma the member of the club and faculty members of the Department of Education attended the event.
