The Department of Education organized a workshop on May 4th, 2024, aimed at providing understanding to first-year students of BA, B.Ed, B.Sc, B.Ed about art and aesthetics. CA Subhash Agrawal, the director and secretary of the college, emphasized the significance of such events in fostering students' appreciation for art and aesthetics, both in personal life and professional development. Dr. Shailendra Patni, the college principal, underscored the importance of integrating art and aesthetics into the teaching profession. Dr. Smita Pancholi, the Head of the Department, encouraged students to incorporate art and aesthetic dimensions into the teaching-learning process. Mr. Dhananjay Singh Chauhan, an expert at the workshop, provided students with a foundational understanding of art and aesthetics and facilitated hands-on experiences. Ms. Jyoti Chauhan and Ms. Jyoti Sharma, the workshop conveners, stated that the workshop was organized to meet the curriculum requirements of MDS University and to expose students to art and aesthetics. Ultimately, this workshop holds significant value for students as they learn the basics of art and aesthetics.
