Successful Organization of "Art and Aesthetic Workshop" by the Department of Education ✨🎨 Shri Ratanlal Kanwarlal Patni Girls' College, Kishangarh
The Department of Education at Shri Ratanlal Kanwarlal Patni Girls’ College, Kishangarh, successfully organized a one-day "Art and Aesthetic workshop" for the students of B.A. B.Ed. and B.Sc. B.Ed. First Year as part of their university curriculum.
The primary objective of the workshop was to enhance students’ understanding of aesthetics, nurture their creativity, and provide a platform for artistic expression. The workshop was conducted under the expert guidance of Mr. Rakesh Prajapati, Founder of R.P. Fine Art Academy, Kishangarh.
College Secretary and Director Mr. Subhash Agrawal emphasized the importance of such creative initiatives. He encouraged the organization of more such events in the future to foster life skills and innovation alongside academics.
Principal Dr. Shailendra Patni remarked that art and education are deeply interconnected, and through aesthetic sensibility, students gain the ability to perceive and express societal values in a meaningful way. He also appreciated the enthusiastic participation of students in the workshop.
Head of the Department, Dr. Smita Pancholi, stated that art is not just a mode of expression but also a powerful tool that enhances the effectiveness and joy of the learning process. The workshop provided hands-on experiences that helped students to internalize the concepts of beauty and creativity.
Workshop Coordinator and Assistant Professor Ms. Jyoti Chauhan shared the framework of the event, explaining that students actively engaged in various creative activities such as printing and designing on clay pots, creating decorative pieces using paper mache, and portrait making. The students worked with great enthusiasm and crafted beautiful artworks that reflected their inner creativity and aesthetic sense.
At the conclusion of the workshop, an art exhibition was organized showcasing the works created by the students.
