76th Independence Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm in our college. The celebration on our college campus started with the hoisting of the tri-coloured national flag by our Chief Guest Shri Bhagirath Choudhary (Member of Parliament), Honorable Shri Kanwarlal Ji Patni (Founder, RK Group), Shri Mahaveer Kothari (Member, College Management Committee) CA Subhash Agarwal (Director and Secretary, College Management Committee) and Dr Ravi Sharma (Principal) along with many other distinguished guests followed by the rendition of Jan Gan Man.
All the dignitaries were warmly welcomed. The event was further continued with a parade by Scouts and Guides and NCC Volunteers. After this, there were cultural dance performances, solo singing, and poem recitation showcasing patriotism.
Chief Guest Shri Bhagirath Choudhary in his address, inspired and motivated young minds to showcase their talents and realize their potential. Shri Mahaveer Kothari in his speech motivated the students and said that today is the time to pay homage to the memory of our great freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives to free India from the bondage of slavery and to see it grow and prosper.
Meritorious students were also awarded by all the dignitaries for securing positions in the college in university examinations.
In the most awaited blessings and address, Honorable Shri Kanwarlal Ji Patni appreciated the efforts of the entire college team in realizing the dream of Pujya Babasaa Shri Ratanlal Ji Patni. He blessed the students to achieve success and bring laurel to the college and parents.
CA Subhash Agarwal in his address said that the most significant aspect of our freedom is that it was won assertively and not through any aggressive practices and today it is extremely crucial to realize our roles and responsibilities as a citizen of our country only then we can make our place much more beautiful and live a life worth living.
Dr Ravi Sharma while delivering his speech said that our nation is still a developing nation and not a developed nation. It’s the youth of our country, who will bring favourable changes in our country and take it to new heights of growth of prosperity.
A pledge to spread awareness regarding the abolition of child marriage was also taken by all. The coordinator of the event, Mr Suresh Sharma (Assistant Professor, Department of History) delivered the vote of thanks.
